New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown will be free to play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, as it was announced on Friday that Brown will not be placed on paid leave by the NFL at this time.
At this point, NFL will not place Antonio Brown on commissioner exempt list, as there is no criminal investigation, making him eligible to play Sunday vs. Miami, per sources. NFL has opened its investigation, which will include interviews with Antonio Brown and his accuser.
The Patriots can still choose to make Brown inactive, but from everything we’ve heard, they are preparing to have Brown on the field against Miami.
New England is 1-0 on the season and Brown is one of the top receivers in the NFL.
