Daniel Jones is in a boot. Has a moderate high ankle sprain. Won’t be ready to play Monday in Philly. It will be Eli Manning as the starting quarterback, once again. Perhaps for the remainder of the season.

Jones injured his ankle in a loss Sunday against the Packers.

Here’s how Jones injured the ankle: 265-pound linebacker Preston Smith landed with all of his weight on Jones’ right leg. This happened midway through the second quarter. Jones didn’t miss a snap and finished the game

Manning has a career record as a starter at 116-116 and was replaced after just two games into this season. He threw for 529 yards in those two losses with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
