And in that, Pelicans big man Anthony Davis indicated he would be open to joining the Celtics, despite previous reports that he had no desire to play in Boston.

Broussard makes a compelling point as this really does all hinge on Kyrie Irving. If Irving is gone, then you’d need the young pieces Boston has, but if Irving stays, all bets could be off for what the team would offer.
Davis is averaging 28.1 points per game and nearly 13 rebounds and will enter the offseason on the last year of his current contract.
