The University of Vermont men’s basketball is heading to a big non-conference tilt tonight against the University of Cincinnati, and if they’re going to beat the Bearcats, it’s going to require a great effort from senior star Anthony Lamb.
Lamb is averaging 16.9 ppg and 7.8 rebounds per game right now while carrying a Catamounts offense that hasn’t begun shooting well to start the season.
But Lamb is certainly attracting the attention of NBA personnel, and ESPN recently had him getting drafted 47th in its most recent mock draft.
I know it’s only a mock up, but it’s a mock up! ESPN updated mock draft. Vermont’s Lamb coming in at #47 with Boston! Would be cool and exciting if this actually pans out. @1013RadioBrady
Interesting to note that Lamb was part of the NBA Draft process this year before withdrawing his name and returning to school. But the Celtics are one of the teams that he worked out for before concluding the process.
