Gordon Catches First TD as a Patriot (VIDEO)

The New England Patriots beat the Colts on Thursday Night Football by a score of 38-24 to move to 3-2 on the year. Much had been made in previous weeks about the Patriots lack of depth on offense and how depleted Tom Brady’s resources have been.

Well, Brady got back wide receiver Julian Edelman last night, who caught seven passes in his return. And he also got a big performance from Josh Gordon in his second game active as a Patriot.

Gordon had two catches for 50 yards in the win, including his first Patriots touchdown:

This was definitely a tough play and could have been easily intercepted by either of the Colts defenders but Gordon was able to pull it down in traffic. Brady threw his 500th career TD pass in the game, which makes him one of just four players to ever do that (Favre, P. Manning, Brees) and the first to do it with one team.

The Pats will play the Chiefs next week in Foxboro.
