If you are a college basketball fan, you have undoubtedly heard of the AP Top 25 poll and you have also likely heard of the RPI, which is a metric used to help determine how good a team is. But you have also probably started hearing about the KenPom rankings, which are in-depth metrics that help decide how good teams are and what styles of play teams play.
The guy who started those rankings is named Ken Pomeroy, and he joined Tuesday’s edition of ‘Champlain Valley Game Night’ to talk about his system, how he got started, and how he used to be a government employee.
