The Boston Red Sox contingent is currently in Cleveland for the MLB All-Star Game and that contingent includes OF/DH JD Martinez, who is heading to the Midsummer Classic for the third time in his career, including both years as a member of the Sox.
Martinez is hitting .304 this year with 18 homers and 48 RBI and is a major reason why the Sox are still in the AL playoff race.
Martinez is in the second year of his five-year contract, but his deal contains an opt-out after this season.
