The New England Patriots get a lot of grief for playing in the “easy” division of the AFC East. The dysfunction of the Dolphins, Jets and Bills, people say, is what has allowed the Pats to rule the AFC East for 20 years.
But this year, people were starting to think that maybe the Jets could put a dent in the Pats dominance — but that’s already looking false.
So to recap: Sam Darnold is out indefinitely with mono. Le’Veon Bell is getting an MRI on his shoulder. C.J. Mosley (groin) and Quinnen Williams (ankle) not practicing. Oh, and the Jets have already lost a starters Quincy Enunwa and Avery Williamson for the season.
Star quarterback Sam Darnold has mono and could miss multiple games while running back Le’Veon Bell has undergone an MRI on his shoulder.
The Jets are already 0-1 and will take on the Browns on Monday Night Football this upcoming week.
