On Tuesday, Patriots WR/specialist Matthew Slater spoke to the media about why he doesn’t like Thursday night games, saying that he believes that it doesn’t fall under the umbrella of “player safety.”

Matthew Slater still believes NFL football shouldn’t be played on Thursday nights: “Player safety and player health, this doesn’t fit into that as far as I’m concerned.”
